Free AMPLEware and Userware for Mentor Graphics Users

Each of these downloadable files contains userware that we have found handy in our work. You are free to use them, modify them, and include them in your company's custom userware loads. Keep checking back, because we will be adding more userware. Also look for an upcoming contest: you submit your userware for publication on this page and the best userware wins a prize - we don't know what it is yet, but it will be nice!

Make a Map - automatically create a map file from the symbol that you have open in the DA symbol editor

Circular Geometry Attributes - add circular routing keepouts, placement outlines, via keepouts and so on to your geometries.

Userware for LAYOUT

Matched Path Length Report - a signal path is a the route that a signal takes from one device to a second device to a third device and so on until it terminates. This path may consist of several nets. In high speed designs, it is sometimes a requirement to match the lengths of several different signal paths (not nets, the whole path!). Layout will only give you net length reports for one net, not a complete signal path. This shell script creates a report from layout for signal path lengths.
